Eunice came up for supper tonight and we had fun. Played jacks after supper and then listened to Fred Allen's program. She left about 10:30 which is very early for Eunice the dear thing. She doesn't believe in getting home early. Now that she and Charlie are definitely broken up she has been going out with Pete and Al something. She manages to keep in circulation. I like Eunice no matter what happens I guess I always will. The kids all like her. It must be because she treats them as equals and doesn't patronize them - this is all -
