I wore my mulberry sweater to work today and I got heaps of compliments on it. Took my aqua skirt and my green suit skirt up to Mrs. Vose to have her fix them. The aqua needs to be taken in at the waist and the green to be let out. Darn it! Wish I could lose some weight! Seems funny with Marit not home - she's gone up to the farm in Burlington to stay with Betty for the week as the kids don't have any school this week. Wish they had vacations like that in my day. I listened to the Lux Radio Theatre "Ceiling Zero", James Cagney and Ralph Bellamy*. Very good but then they always are - well I've got to wash and do my nails so I better get started before its too late -
